The 3rd annual DV + Health Care Symposium will take place on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, 9am to 2:30pm PST at The California Endowment Center in Los Angeles and virtually.

Beyond Silos is hosted by the DVHC Leadership Council in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Office of Women's Health and Domestic Violence Council.

2022 Symposium learning objectives

By the end of the symposium, participants will be able to:

  2. Discuss how restrictive reproductive health policies can exacerbate coercive control in relationships;

  3. Enhance, strengthen, and build on DSV as a public health issue—including impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic;

  4. Promote partnership development and strengthen collaborative systems of care between DSV advocacy programs, health care organizations and community based organizations;

  5. Support individual and community resilience and improve DSV response and survivor health through partnerships;

  6. Support partnership models and networking opportunities between health care and DSV service providers in Los Angeles and statewide.
